Working Together

Terms of Service

These draft terms provide a structure for consultations, interior design concepts, space planning, styling and selection services.

Important: this document must be adapted to Interiostore's confirmed commercial practices, proposal terms and legal requirements, then reviewed before publication.

Draft website terms

Items shown in square brackets are placeholders requiring confirmed business instructions.

1. General Terms

These terms are intended to apply when a client engages Interiostore for agreed interior design services. Website information is general and does not itself create a service agreement. A project begins only when the parties accept a written proposal, scope or other confirmed agreement.

Descriptions and indicative prices on this website are starting points only. Availability, suitability, deliverables and final fees are subject to discussion and written confirmation.

2. Services and Project Scope

Services may include initial consultations, residential interior design, space planning, colour and material guidance, furniture and lighting selection, interior styling and preparation of design concepts or recommendations.

Each proposal should state the selected service, spaces included, deliverables, revision process, client responsibilities, exclusions and any relevant third-party involvement. Items outside the agreed scope require separate approval and may affect fees or timing. Final scope wording: [insert confirmed project scope process].

3. Fees and Payment

Fees, payment stages, due dates, applicable taxes and reimbursable expenses must be set out in the accepted project proposal. No deposit amount, payment schedule or late fee is established by this website draft.

Purchases from furniture, lighting, material, trade or other suppliers should be governed by the confirmed proposal, including who places orders, title to goods, delivery, returns, variations and supplier terms. Payment terms: [insert confirmed terms].

4. Cancellations, Liability and Changes

The final agreement should explain how either party may reschedule or end a service, what happens to work already completed and how committed third-party costs are handled. Cancellation notice and any applicable charges: [insert confirmed policy].

Design recommendations depend on information available, site conditions, client decisions and third-party products or services. Any appropriate limitations, consumer law rights, insurance requirements and responsibility for trade implementation must be drafted for the actual business and must not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to a project should be documented and approved before additional work proceeds. These website terms may be updated when business practices are confirmed; the version incorporated into an accepted project agreement should govern that engagement.
